Kevin Power owns and operates NAPA Auto Parts Store on Price William Drive, Placentia. Kevin started K. J. Power Ltd. at this location in 1977. Over three decades in business, Kevin expanded by opening three more NAPA stores, two in  St. John's and one in Fox Trap. 

NAPA specializes in auto parts and accessories. The store sells welding equipment, marine fishing equipment, snowmobile parts, ATV parts and tires, chain saws, tools, safety supplies, safety boots and footwear, and snowsuits and raingear. It also offers a line of commercial cleaning supplies. NAPA clients range from local service station owners and fishermen to the do-it-yourselfer.  

Kevin has recently sold three of the NAPA stores and is now concentrating on growing his business at Placentia. He says he is pleased to have grown and maintained his business even in difficult times and he is looking forward to next spring when Vale Inco is scheduled to start building at Long Harbour. He says this will be a tremendous help for his business and the area.    

Kevin is a very committed community volunteer. As well as his involvement with local service groups, he serves on the municipal council and is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, having served as chairperson.
