Section

  1. The Annual General Meeting of the Chamber shall be held in the month of October in each year at the time and place determined by the Board. At least three weeks notice of the Annual General Meeting shall be given.

  2. The following business shall be transacted at the Annual General Meeting:

    1. reports shall be submitted by the Board
    2. the election of officers to the Board shall be held
    3. the auditors of the Chamber shall be appointed
    4. the members shall act upon any other matter which may properly come before the Annual General Meeting

  3. Regular General Meetings of the Chamber will be held quarterly, unless otherwise decided by a vote of the general membership, and shall be held at a time and place designated by the Board. At least one week's notice of such meetings shall be given. Regular General Meetings will not be held in the months of July and August.

  4. Special General Meetings of the Chamber may be held at any time when summoned by the President, or requested in writing by any three members of the Board, or any ten members of the Chamber. At least one day's notice shall be provided and in this notice reasonable explanation as to the need for such meetings shall be given.

  5. The Board shall meet from time to time (at least once a month) as may be necessary to carry on the business of the Chamber.

  6. Notice of all meetings, naming the time and place of assembly, shall be given by the Secretary, and mailed to the last known address of each member.

  7. At any Annual or Regular General Meeting, 20 or more members in good standing represented at such meeting shall be a quorum and, unless otherwise specifically provided, a majority of members present shall be competent to do and perform all acts which are, or shall be, directed to be done at any such meetings.

  8. Minutes of the proceedings of all General and Board Meetings shall be entered in books to be kept for that purpose, by the Secretary.

  9. The entry of such minutes shall be signed by the person who presides at the meeting at which they are adopted.

  10. By arrangement with the Board, all books of the Chamber shall be opened at all reasonable hours to any member of the Chamber, free of charge.
