staff members, along with their hard work, and of course, the store's
reasonable prices. It is these reasonable prices, along with Duane's eagerness
to stock products according to each customer's needs, that he feels attributes
to people staying in the area and buying locally - the key to continued
prosperity for his company.The Voisey's Bay development in Argentia brings with it many anticipated changes to the area, and Duane is eager to take advantage of this opportunity. Being the only hardware centre in the area, Mr. Haley is hoping to accommodate many of the needs and demands of the project. The store is very flexible with its product line, and if the need arises,
Duane is more than willing to bring in new
merchandise, or even change the current line in order to provide quality
superior service.While Duane appreciates the fact that this development will have a very positive effect on the area and the people living here, he feels that some are just not fully aware of the impact or potential this project is going to have. Duane expresses concern that the Placentia Area must be prepared for this expected development in order to prosper from all opportunities that will arise in the future.
In the meantime, Aylward's has undergone renovations, and is in the process of expanding their store, in order to better serve and meet the needs of their clientele.
